Installation work for wind propulsion assist device
Fuji Trading (Marine) B.V. carried out the installation of a wind propulsion assist system in the port of Rotterdam on July 5-8/2024.
In cooperation with Dutch manufacturer Econowind(Econowind:HP), Fuji Trading (Marine) B.V. arranged the lay berth, welding work, and electricians.
The two units of Ventofoil onboard this time generate “lift” by the difference in atmospheric pressure caused by the wind flow, and the force is used as propulsion.
The entire Fuji Trading group will continue to promote and support activities related to energy-saving technologies in line with new environmental regulations.
